Description
Technology
Three-layer thermal constructionThe BBB Cycling WaterShield cycling gloves are made of a three-layer thermal construction. This anatomically pre-formed construction gives you a comfortable fit and maximum thermal insulation. With the WaterShield gloves, your hands are optimally protected against winter cold and precipitation. The micro pores in the membrane even ensure that perspiration can be wicked away from the inside out, so that your hands remain warm and dry.
Additional grip and comfort
The Clarino foam padding on the palm of the BBB Cycling WaterShield cycling gloves provides a comfortable damping effect and, therefore, additional comfort when you're holding the handlebar. The silicone non-slip print on the fingers gives you extra grip and firmness during your bike ride. In addition, these gloves also have reflective elements for increased visibility, extended cuffs with a Velcro closure for the ideal fit, and a special fabric on the index fingers and thumbs for operating touchscreens.

Feels a bit disappointing.
Because they are not breathable enough, you get wet hands from sweat, which in turn leads to cold hands.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Does what it needs to do
Somewhat clunky, but fine windproof and relatively warm gloves. Still fine for shifting gears (obviously takes some getting used to). I had hoped they'd be a bit warmer, between 5-10 fine, but below that still get cold fingertips quickly (but I always have that very quickly, so maybe I'm the exception). Are water-repellent, but definitely not waterproof, resulting in heavy gloves.
Pros & Cons
5 / 5
Definitely recommended on cold days!
These gloves are windproof, and in this case they really are. I have not yet ridden in rain, so whether they are also properly waterproof, I do not yet know. What I really like is that they sit quite far around your wrist, so the long sleeves of your jacket can fit well over them, preventing wind from getting into your sleeve.
